Real estate giant Realogy Corp. (NYSE: H) today announced an agreement to settle "purported consolidated class-action litigation" that followed the announcement of a proposed buyout by affiliates of private equity firm Apollo Management. That deal is worth about $9 billion.

McLEAN, VA -- Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) in which the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 6.22 percent with an average 0.5 point for the week ending February 22, 2007, down from last week when it averaged 6.30 percent.
