Brian L. Tannebaum was named one of the top criminal defense lawyers in South Florida and Daniel A. Weiss was one of 25 lawyers selected in the category of real estate land use, zoning & environmental. Florida criminal attorney Tannebaum practices both state and federal criminal defense and represents lawyers and law students in the Bar Grievance and Admittance Process. He has authored articles published statewide on the subjects of "Collateral Consequences of Criminal Conduct," "Racial Profiling," and "The Bar Grievance Process."

Florida criminal defense attorney Tannebaum has been a legal consultant to the CBS Drama "CSI: Miami," was voted "Best of the Bar," by the South Florida Business Journal, one of "Florida's Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine, one of the "Top Lawyers in South Florida," by the South Florida Legal Guide, and a "Super Lawyer," in Super Lawyers magazine.

In addition to the Florida Bar, Tannebaum is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

In addition to lecturing to other professionals in the field of property taxation, Weiss is co-author of the chapter titled "Agricultural and Other Classified Properties" in the multi-volume treatise Florida Tax Service 2d.

Like Tannebaum, Weiss has been selected by Florida Superlawyers for inclusion in their 2006 magazine, and as among South Florida's Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine.

Weiss is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Supreme Court of Florida.

Weiss is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers, Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, and serves on the Boards of Directors of Miami Beach Community Health Center, Douglas Gardens Hospice and Miami Beach Community Development Corporation.

In addition to private clients, Weiss represents the city of Miami and the city of South Miami in matters relating to ad valorem property taxation.

Weiss has over 70 published judicial opinions to his credit, including 55 decisions involving property taxation.
