Florida Mortgage Company Dedicates Portion of Earnings to Clients' Choice of Charities
South Florida Mortgage Company is taking a leading role in innovative ideas relating to helping their community.
Pembroke Pines, FL (PRWeb) November 4, 2006 -- Solid Rock Mortgage is leading the way in community involvement by giving 10 percent of its gross compensation to worthy charities and churches. They have gone one step further and allowed their clients to decide which charity receives the portion from their loan.
"I don't know how many mortgage companies are giving back to their communities, but I do hope more companies will follow what we started", says Mr. Robert D. Ashby, the company's President. He goes on to state that since Solid Rock Mortgage is based on Christian values, he prefers to give the money to the client's church or other Christian based ministries such as Sheridan House Family Ministries, WMCU radio, His House and others. He goes on to say, "We understand that many of Solid Rock Mortgage's clients are not Christians, so we do allow clients to choose from other worthy causes such as the Red Cross, American Cancer Society, etc." There are limitations to where the money will be sent.
They are currently putting together a list of approved charities. In the near future, they will be adding a supported ministries page to their website and will be doing a "Ministry of the Month" page as well. Once the Ministry of the Month campaign starts, if any client does not choose where to send the money, the current featured ministry will receive the donation.
Other innovations are on the way from this growing company. Mr. Ashby is Florida's first Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and is known as "Florida's Debt and Equity Management Expert". "We see a need in the community to be educated on the truths about mortgages and mortgage planning", Mr. Ashby added. Expert mortgage advice is growing in popularity and Solid Rock Mortgage has positioned itself to be the leader in assisting their clients to increase their wealth through proper mortgage planning. Recently the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago released a 58-page report highlighting the need for this type of service.
