Northbridge Companies will develop approximately 138 units of senior housing that will offer a continuum of care and a new alternative to area senior citizens on 6.1 acres of land on the South Shore, marking the first new assisted living facility developed in Plymouth in over 8 years.

There are two aspects of the Plymouth project: the redevelopment of an existing building, the former Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, into an eighty-five (85) unit, 75,000 SF, three-story assisted living facility, and the development of an independent living building consisting of a 60,000 SF, three-story building containing fifty-two (52) condominiums.
Stafford Hill Assisted Living will be a state-of-the-art assisted living facility consisting of sixty (60) traditional units and twenty-five (25) units for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory impairment, with total occupancy at 92 residents. The building will also include a dining room, living room, recreational area, library, beauty parlor, wellness center, and theatre room.
Being called “the new age of assisted living”, Stafford Hill will offer The S.T.A.R. Program (Sharp Thinking Active Residents), a series of interactive activities designed to effectively reduce decline of memory loss and improve cognitive and behavioral functions. Additionally, Stafford Hill will offer a wellness center with senior friendly equipment and exercise programs to encourage overall health and well being.
The independent living building will consist of fifty-two (52) for-sale condominiums with options such as studio, one bedroom, one bedroom den and two bedroom units with base prices beginning in the high $200,000’s. An enclosed walkway will connect the independent living building to the assisted living building, and all residents will have access to amenities in both buildings. By combining assisted living with a stand-alone independent community, seniors residing in the independent component will have access to numerous services and activities that are not typically available in an independent setting.
