A Beginner's Guide to Gardening http://www.concealmentindustries.com First, if you are going to begin gardening, you need the basic tools. Most importantly, you need a spading fork. You may also purchase fertilizers, a bow rake, a water can, shears, a round-ended shovel, a hoe, and a clay pot or wooden planters. Aside from these gardening tools, you can also buy some gardening accessories to make gardening easier and more enjoyable. These include some knees pads, a gardening hat, a good broom, and a pair of gardening gloves. After you have a list of your supplies, you are ready to begin your garden. First, make a list of all the plants you want to grow, whether it is vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, or flowers. Next, you want to draw a small plan of your garden and determine where every plant will go. Select a big place if you want a vegetable garden. You can divide this into four smaller beds because you have to group your vegetables into groups and rotate them every year. Give your vegetables a place where they can receive about six hours of sunlight or more every day. For flowers, you can make a few flowerbeds, about 2 times 5 feet is a good space. You can also use the clay pot or containers to put flowers and herbs on your porch or windowsill. After you have drawn your small map, bought your tools, seeds, and plants, you are ready to garden. The plants can be transplanted any time of year except the winter. The seeds should be sown in early spring. There should be guides on the back of the seed packages. If you need more help, ask for help at the store when you buy the seeds and plants, or buy a small gardening book that references how each plant optimally grows. Hopefully this beginner's guide to gardening gave you a successful plan to build your own garden.
