News Flash: Obama urges homeowners to refinance and take advantage of historically low mortgage rates.
During a press conference yesterday morning, President Obama urged homeowners to refinance their home loans given the current historically low mortgage rates.
"The main message that we want to send today is, there are 7 to 9 million people across the country who right now could be taking advantage of lower mortgage rates. That is money in their pocket. And we estimate that the average family can get anywhere from $1,600 to $2,000 a year in savings by taking advantage of these various mortgage programs that have been put in place."
By refinancing your mortgage you can potentially lower your interest rate and reduce your monthly payment. Whether you're having problems making your mortgage payments or you just want to save some money, refinancing could help you keep more of your hard earned cash.
Even if you did not qualify previously, there are a range of different programs that have recently been put in place to help people save money and stay in their homes. Act now to talk to a trusted lender and find out if you qualify.
But beware of unscrupulous scam artists on the prowl! Obama cautioned, "if somebody is asking you for money up front before they help you with your refinancing, it's probably a scam." To avoid these predators, make sure you deal with a reliable source such as our extensive database of trusted lenders.
See if you qualify for refinancing by contacting our large database of lenders who are all competing to offer you the lowest rates. This is a great opportunity -- act now!
