The Call of Home Spring Cleaning E.S. Cromwell Ah, yes, cleaning - the one thing that everyone has to do, but never and almost ever truly wants to do. And this coming spring is no exception to the rule, as a spring cleaning call will be bellowed from valleys low to mountains high, reaching all ears whether or not they're willing to listen. And yet, ears aren't the only body parts susceptible to the spring cleaning call; it's the entire body, especially the parts requiring that all too familiar and ill-desired "elbow grease." An Evil That's Necessary The spring cleaning fever is unavoidable, it's practically as contagious as, well, spring fever. But, spring fever finds more acceptance that spring cleaning, that's for sure. Everyone, despite their best efforts, seasonally falls victim to the scrubbing, organizing, vacuuming, polishing, and laboriously-imbued doing that is attached with the duty of spring cleaning. And this isn't saying that spring cleaning is a terrible thing, a mess uprooted from the ignified bowls of hells. Yet, methinks, as well as a large portion of you, I'm sure, feel that spring cleaning is indeed a necessary evil. Necessary Doesn't Imply Crazy But, what is stated here is that spring cleaning doesn't necessarily have to be an all or nothing act, nor a project involving crazy amounts of work scheduled for completion in one go. People are different. As such, their cleanliness and cleaning approaches will vary as well. This in mind, it's suggested to tackle spring cleaning from a personal angle, preferably one that includes less craziness and more leisureliness. As it is, spring is a time of welcomed warmer weather, of cool breezes that refresh the mind and body and of an overall chipper feel that floats about. Embrace this feeling and carry it over to the actual act of spring cleaning. If anything, it will make all the labor more doable and, dare I say it, even enjoyable. Cleaning More Than A Home For spring cleaning, think of it as more than just cleaning the area you comfortably live. Approach spring cleaning with the notion that you will be cleaning up yourself, or your act, so to speak. As it stands already, the way in which we as individuals and our corresponding homes, apartments and etc appear are a direct reflection of how we are as people, in terms of our cleanliness. Consider spring cleaning as dusting off more than just furniture and items in your home, but also dusting of the intricate, and most times, stressed innards of your noggin. Spring Fling Change your mindset while partaking in the spring cleaning craze. Treat the event like a fun -and I say that loosely- spring fling type of scenario. Part the shades, let the light in and get loose. Turn on some upbeat and groovy music to keep spirits high. Just dance while you dust. Side step while you scrub. No one ever said cleaning was a hobby, or fun for that matter, but why not make cleaning actually...somewhat enjoyable? It is possible with the right attitude, an unbound atmosphere and knowing that spring is indeed on it's way, soon to be in full gorgeous swing, that makes the outlook of spring cleaning a less-daunting chore and more so a pleasant necessary evil. If spring cleaning isn't your style, or desire, then why not seek some hired assistance from one or a few house cleaning services? - Let the spring cleaning be done by someone else entirely.
